Handel - Sonata III in C Major for recorder and harpsichord. We have put this onto YouTube because we believe that it contributes some ideas for ornamentation, particularly in the Gavotte movement, but also in the first and second movements. Use of a sequence of expanding trills helps to increase the intensity of the music toward the end of the second movement. It is a very beautiful sonata, and we have very much enjoyed performing it.

The tempo is a little too brisk as a baroque piece.

@adamworth1979 im aware of the customs that were present back then. Did you want me to add "In my opinion" to that?
The first movement started too fastly, in my opinion. There you go :)

@Rosky12 When it comes to Baroque music, tempo markings were rarely used. Tempo, ornamentation among other things were left up to the performers, therefore statements like "first movement started to fast" are completely subjective and personal opinions.
