(Brotogeris Chiriri), Also known as canary winged Parakeeets, are one of the several species of California's wild parrot flocks. Flock numbers rarely exceed eight or ten. Here they are foraging on the dates of a True Date Palm,(Phoenix dactylifera).

  • I had a canary wing as a pet, and she was a delight! She lived to be eighteen years old.
