No matter how much I hate Noah (because the actor who plays him can't act, but Noah as a character seems okay) I have to admit that the scene with him, Amy and Ste was very cute!

Maybe not with fists, but that snarled "Keep your hands off me, faggot!" must have felt like a punch to JP at that moment. And it happened more than once. It's a matter of degree I think, and in the end I am not a young British bloke so I bring a very different set of eyes to the story. I respect your opinion I simply see parallels between the storylines where you do not.Thank you for sharing your view. :)

@oxy "probably one of the most genuine depictions of 2 mates falling in love that you'll ever have the pleasure of seeing." Because neither of them was abused as a child or is a sociopath. I honestly don't think we disagree at all, but i completely understand being defensive about a storyline you enjoy. In the end it's a soap, with soap drama and soap situations, so to comparing it to real life will always be a little futile, to me at least. in the end - not real, only really entertaining. :)

@oxy I think it's all in how you choose to define "relationship". I am going with "a romantic or passionate attachment." I think you can agree at the very least they have had, and do have that. Is it healthy at this point? No. Is it stable? No, and I doubt it ever will be. Is it good for Stephen? Decidedly not. It is more of an addiction. Is it good for Brendan? In my eyes, possibly yes, because i think it is the catalyst for change, but with someone like Brendan change can be a very bad thing.
