  • There's no pure or ISF modes on the 6020. I normally watch movies in standard mode, which I calibrated with spears and munsil cal disc and tweaked a bit to my taste. Even after a year of owning this set, I still am amazed with the outstanding picture it delivers.

  • The sub's awesome. More than enough bass to fill my apartment living room.

  • Very impressive amazing TV still but i think Panasonic's 2012 plasma's will match Kuro's blacks and colors.

  • How do you like your Sub? I just upgraded my Theater with 2 SVS PB13 Ultra's. Check it out if you get a chance. Very nice set up you have; congrats.

  • very, very nice theater. I have some Emotiva in mine too. Just posted a new video if you interested in checking out.

  • First time I saw Face/Off DOLBY SR-D was at UCI Lee Valley outside London 1997 for projectionist interview and it sounded crap! It was too damn LOUD! It was mostly poorly EQ that made the new cinema a let down. It was all bass mid or mostly sheer bloody loudness over the LCR HF stage horns. The stereo surrounds covered by some 6 or 8 was okay, the sub bass well that was just nonexistent or poorly EQ.

Last film was Alien4 in dts and that sounded mega crap in dts!

  • I think the term Cinematic is bit cheeky of bluray as many if not 98 no maybe 99% have DNR and EE so that doesn’t even come near or close to Cinematic not by a hairline fracture. I’m so disappointed in the format I hardly buy new bluray titles because my trust in the format/studios has been robbed with fake stereo surrounds EE and DNR I know what to look for and listen for.

  • nice setup, don't ya just luv having your own place to display your home theater up!Keep up the good work...

  • @lukaun8 is that the model of the receiver?

cause it showed me some dvd upscaler

  • @djEvilDude its Onkyo 706.

  • @lukaun8 It don't matter you still get a sweet DTS-HD MA, btw what onkyo do you have?

  • @sheedoe I actually had the svs sb12 and it was sick! I'm not sure why they discontinued them? The RBH TK are the ones with the yellow woofer right? Nice set up. Im getting 2 of the Acoustech PL-200's to replace my sb12. I got to audition them and surprisingly they actually kept up with the sb12 and out performed it in some frequencies one vs one. Nice set up by the way. I'll be getting my new Onkyo 7.2 receiver on tuesday. Im stoked
