Former Minister of Railways in India's UPA (United Progressive Alliance) government and President of the RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) political party, Lalu Prasad Yadav, explains the need for a union between India and Pakistan for the benefit of the common man as well as to check American power in the region. He points out that how hostility between the two countries: (a) has done nothing to improve the lot of the average person; (b) there is massive poverty and misery in the two countries; and (c) America uses a "divide and conquer" policy in South Asia to further its interests. This interview was recorded in 2007.

  • PART II:

I must say that I have a strong personal admiration for Lalu on account of his expert management and turnaround of Indian Railways as a federal minister. Sure, in the past he has been accused of corruption. The fact remains that even Western business schools are developing case studies on the railway turnaround under his leadership. In addition to boasting a reputation for getting things done, he is also a man of very humble origins and identifies with the poor masses.

  • PART I:

I wholeheartedly agree with Lalu Prasad's view that a union of India and Pakistan is in the interest of the poor masses of the two countries. We need to cut down on massive defense spending; the money can be better utilized to develop our economies through investment in education, infrastructure, transportation, environment, and health-care. I also agree with Lalu's that it is NOT in the interest of great powers such as America to see a union between India and Pakistan.

  • @saurabhCherished is madarchod ka khatna karwa ke pakistan bhej dena chahiye

  • @KashifHKhan this is what differentiates U from avg indian. No Bihari wld ever consider these words seriously. under his rule he ran a mafia-like state that made the life of a common so dangerous n maufactured the largest numbers of criminals. don't be carried away by mere utterences!! that is what originally caused the partition of the country. I know u consider Jinnah a god juz like morons on our side think Gandhi is beyond qn.Every leader is our servant and v hav 2 judge their every act

  • @KashifHKhan Look Bro. A separate nation state was carved out of India by Jinnah, who is only next to Prophet for U guyz n questioning him like questioning Prophet! so there is no doubt in my mind that U will B the minority who will want union with India!!On our side even the dumbest guy knows there is no use of figthing. but Vwill not tolerate provocations. All wars so far were started by Pak n u have a crippled economy now.So u hav 2 options live in peace R fight and self-destruct.

  • @KashifHKhan he did nothing except speak.the present situation is that he lost twice and there is no opposition in bihar.nitish kumar(see wiki) is doing far better than him

  • @KashifHKhan khashif bhai plz at least dont praise this person.u dont know exactly who he is.i am from bihar and i know what people suffered there.he came in government to help poor people asked vote to poor dalits yadavs and muslims, then criminalise the society ,high level corruption(see wiki),worst in almost every thing in india.bihar become a joke in india.because of his policy labour class used to go to other state and get killed and beaten in states like panjab maharastra and assam

  • Pakistan is a failed experiment. Its creation was a big big mistake. It is drowning in islam and on the wrong side of history. Its corrupt military dominated establishment has consumed the country and the vast majority of its people are suffering from poverty. Pakistan is a pimp state of US imperialism.

Pakistan's future lies in making a sound peace with India and coming together in a confederation of South Asia Without Borders as a step forward

  • lalu by himself can't do anything he represents only maybe .00001% of indian hindus nobody wants to listen to his talk because his talk is logical and indians are too fukn stupid they have hatred against all pakistanis u muslims are lucky you guys have pakistan atleast its ur house don't rely on india or hindus to help u in any way sorri to disappoint u kashif u guys should just try to make pakistan a better country by getting rid of corrupt leaders im a sikh btw

  • @SabertoothEversoris Well said bro ... but how many of us Indian and Pakistanis think this way? ****ing self centred-middle-class-thinking that we have ... allows us a nothing but a pompous self-righteous view ...

  • @jeamim Salaam...we dont even need to think of any new name. Just keep the names thats already there but stop spending the money on arms. The kind of resources and manpower that both sides possess we can have a gr8 trade within the 2 countries...but these politicians wudnt let that happen
