* From the very beginning, Russ Rosener placed a very high value in the Natural resources that where present, such as the Topsoil. Up until 75 years ago, much of this land was utilized as Grazing Land for Agriculture, due to its' high quality of Organic Rich Topsoil. When the grazing of the Land ended some 75 years ago, the land suffered extensive soil erosion. Weed, vine and general scrub growth had taken over the area. When we came to this Land, the goal was to RECLAIM as much of the Topsoil as possible. We Accomplished just that, through extensive, diligent efforts of excavating Topsoil from deeply eroded ravines, stockpiling the rich Topsoil, contouring the sub soil BACK TO A NATURAL FLOW , and redistributing this precious Topsoil which will serve, once again, as a Natural Resource to CONSERVE RAINFALL AND PROMOTE HEALTHY RE-VEGETATION.
Today, Meadow Ridge has Natural contours, covered in pasture grasses. The weed, vine and scrub growth was converted to organic mulch and re introduced into the Land to nurture the Preserved Trees and Prevent Soil Erosion. What is truly remarkable, we saved Hundreds of Mature, Old Growth Trees in this area ! These Beautiful Majestic Trees, that are throughout the Rolling Meadows, bring an Absolutely Serene Feeling to any who are fortunate enough to Experience such a Special Environment!

* A Lake was created to add to the conservation of water and ensure Topsoil Preservation, while CREATING a NEW Resource and Habitat for Wildlife !
