  • well done man

  • @sergio9871 Thanks! Sergio

  • @historicus146. Ok thanks.

  • @historicus. Well better would be to show that. However I can explain that as following. First left hand, pressing and bending the string up and then down on position sec. fret string G., Then empty string G and string D on second fret.

Now Right hand. Using The edge of the pick together with a part of the skin of your right index finger. Hit appx 2 cm / appx 4/5 "/ far from the TELECASTER bridge / The direction towards neck/. Only one hit on G and then hit the final tone on D.Hope it helps

  • I think it is time for you do a lesson for us. I don't want to hear you don't have time either. So get to it Mister. ................Fantastic by the way..........

  • @felango21> Thanks for your nice comment! If only lack of time... :-). Well, frankly I truly do not consider myself as a right person to do some guitar lessons. I am only obsessed by Roy Buchannan's licks and Nancy's voice (Not any other guitar of his). I wish I could post soon a cover of the song called Down by the river - live, once I have got a backing track for it form anywhere.

  • wow thats really cool sounds wonderful, its cool see how some else plays it I usually pick out off the A fifth position, and end the progression with an open D, such a cool song.

  • @YaKamarJulia

"pinch harmonics" is the name for it.... that is what I was missing. Thanks for your help and tasteful playing...!!

  • @YaKamarJulia

I have looked for some type of video on how to do this....

it is tough to find...and I didnt. I encourage you to be the first to post a video on how to pull off this subtle...but really tasteful tact.

  • could you explain the technique you use at minute 1:05 to get that 'harmonic' type sound..

    thanks....

    from a closet musician...

  • @YaKamarJulia thanks for the response, I will be watching if you change your mind. As for the song, I never get tired of it. What a beautiful sound.
