  • This is Alban Berg? 'Seven early songs' - what year(s) was this written, please? Still very tonal compositions.  Beautiful, interesting orchestrations. Thanks for the upload!

  • These songs were written between 1905 and 1908. Berg orchestrated them later on in 1928. They are hauntingly beautiful indeed!

  • @mariandelochs i think they are not tonal, serial music gives the ability to write tonal succession as well, i think that this is in fact what makes bergs music so unique :)) transitions between tonal and serial successions :)
