Could this possibly be as simple as the costco store location not being correct in the database?

They will probably get it updated in a firmware update, appears they have it 180 degrees off...

Have you talked to Yaesu about the problem? Do you know of others who are experiencing the same problem? I want to purchase the radio but would like to know if the issue has been addressed before I cough up the cash for it.
