  • I was their with about another 8000.as soon as the music started the place was bouncing from start to finish. And everyone sang every song word for word.

  • whoa, surely the best intro to a live roses track ever. To have been there off your face

  • the best Stone Roses gig I've ever heard. the reason why is that, unusually, Ian Brown is pretty much note perfect throughout. let's hope it's as, in Mani's words, "magical" as this in Heaton Park. i'm counting the days until the 30th June! i can't recall ever being this exited for a gig. best band in the world.

  • @liamfullerton64 you mean cork, not dublin

  • got my titp ticket last night, hopefully they are as good as this when they play at T.

  • @skwinthead You lucky bastard. I spent 4 hours on the phone and didn't get through.

  • me and mates have spent many an hour stoned out of our shaven skulls listening to this intro, @roooooy @splinter @root @dosser @moose

  • this was such a great night - i have hope for 2012 - got me ticket.

  • I remember the lights went on just as Reni came in and Ian was just strolling around like a kid.The whole place just erupted! I was against them getting back but now when I think of the joy they brought and how little money they got for their efforts I say they deserve all that's coming to them.I saw Ian Brown a few times and he never sounded as good as he did that night. It was their greatest live performance and I've never seen a cloud of steam like the one in the tent.Happy times!

  • in a press conferance earlier today mani openly said that this gig was the best they have ever played....followed by a gig in dublin
