I have to agree with most of the people on here about this. Paul Black just doesn't have the voice. That's probably why he didn't end up working out in the early days. I just can't take LA Guns seriously without Phil Lewis. On the other hand, I don't think I could bring myself to see the Phil Lewis LA Guns w/out Tracii. It's just wrong. There is only ONE viable LA Guns and they were one of the very best bands of their time. One of the few bands that I continued to listen to throughout the 90's

you know some voices just make a band and Phil Lewis`s voice made LA GUNS.I got to see Phils version here in greensboro NC last year at a bike rally my buddy put on and they flat out kicked ass.Tracy`s version just doesnt sound right without phils voice!

I always knew Paul Black was the Original Singer , But Phil Lewis, & Tracii Guns are the Voice, sound and Image of this Band , and two LA Guns Touring...Huh????

can't stand phil lewis! without paul black you wouldn't have the entire first 2 LPs! tracii stole the songs and claimed them for himself! he's a thief and a loser! the only time la guns rocked is with black! tracii is an evil evil man!

Phil Lewis has such a distinctive voice, and Tracii Guns has a very distinctive sound as well. dam i wish they'd set aside their differences and get back together.
