presley, lee lewis stolen many songs from black musicians. it was possibile because black had no voice in usa and white people did not listen much to black music in fifties. there were exceptions too, sure.

The first time I saw Jerry Lee, he was the opening act, for Elvis in Beaumont,Texas. Needless to say, he was the best. He was always my favorite, from that time on. It was one great show. I plan on seeing him again this Friday night. I don't care if he's old, so am I.
