Damn when i was on a bus papuntang bicol ang rami kong nakitang truck na may dalang mga pinutol na kahoy talamak talaga ang logging dito buti nalang ang bundok dito sa may hometown ko protected site na.

Stop illegal logging, I see some place that are still doing illegal logging. Agusan Del sur are rampant in illegal logging.
-
i know it's an ecological issue, but have they thought of relocating this breed of eagle elsewhere to see if it can thrive? outside of the Philippines?
-
are there STILL 200 phillippine eagles left in the wild, or are they starting to increase their population??thanks XD!!

trust me foneio there are some people who are trying very hard to convince the council to stop logging. but the fucking council are getting payed to do this shit of logging forests. if logging dose stop, the wedge tailed eagles are still endangered and will need A LOT of time to recover their population, and time is something that most people can't wait.

i want to see it eating a monkey

About 300-500 pairs left in the wild.

how much philippines eagles are still living in the philippines?
-
yes the philippine eagle is critically endangered, but the problem is there are other species in the world that r in even more danger, such as the tasmanian wedge-tailed eagle, which has an estimated population of 400 adults...but no one is doing anything for them...WHY???
i heard that some forest in philippine are NOT to be logged. and yet they still are. How do i support or donate to the p.e.f? cause i would like to start a forest eagle-breeding program that will be controlled by the P.E.F to help some surviving forest.

Yup! There are many forest (some are being restored) that are now being declared as natural parks, protected areas especially those that are found to have Philippine eagle's nesting sites and positively identified as eagles homerange but we need more and environmentalist and other groups, NGO's wants a TOTAL Log ban to be implimented. Thanks for watching and to your support!
