Here's another track from the Beach Boys' "Stars & Stripes" album, this time featuring Lorrie Morgan on lead vocals. Of all the C&W singers on this project Lorrie and Timothy B Schmit are just about the best.

This is way the Boys are Legends. They' re great. They know it and are not insecure about having other performers do their songs. Brain had some personal issues. But, the music maintained.

Could be she is using a lyric sheet because they changed the wording like a girl was singing it. After knowing the original for so many years, it would be a struggle not to sing the original lyrics on accident. lol

I'm assuming he was cleverly added in by the video producers/editors. With all of the legal matters that had been going in within the group at the time it wouldn't be suprising that Brian chose not to be in the same room as ML. That's just my thoughts...anyone else agree?

An observation: Yes Brian's singing, he's in the video...but I'm willing to bet that he was not in the studio when they filmed the video. He's never in the same shot. The 1st part shows him sitting in a seperate room. Then during the 2nd part (where they're on "stage") it LOOKS like he's there with them, but when the camera comes back and films the whole group singing...he's not there. Check out the video for Tammy Wynette's version of "In My Room"...same grey shirt, same hair, same studio.
