  • A wrong CPR protocol. He should head tile chin lift, not the neck. He should check breathing for 10 seconds, and if no breathing give two breathes, and then check 10 seconds pulse. And if no pulse can be found then start compression. This is a wrong, very wrong video and should be deleted immediately.

  • Please look at the comments above as the CPR protocol is correct as for the european community as well as the US.... If it is still the same as it was before 2005 in Hongkong please continue as you have been instructed.... regards

  • But its very good to teach CPR on youtube. Thanks for the post. It is very important. Can you teach us more.

  • Thank you for your comments but the video is correct as the guidlines are from the UK resuscitation guildlines.... It was for the general public to make CPR easier... I can understand if you have been doing CPR for a number of years that it can sometimes confuse... Regards

  • Hi. Nice short clip. A bit concerned that the video looked as though the compressions were too fast. The recommended rate is 100 per min if this was put into the script I think it would be great.

  • Thanks... have added 100 per minute....

  • hey nice vid but there are new guidelines stating to clear the airway as part of the ABC's of first aid. And if you arent certified it is recommended to do hands-only CPR 100:1min. You have the correct ratio and this is helpful, but you should include information like when doing rescue breaths see if the chest rises and make sure to tilt back the head to open the airway, you should also add that each compression for an average adult should be 3-4 inches deep. Thanks - phenomenal

  • ....Just don't EVER come near me when I end up having a cardiac arrest.

I'd rather have this out dated CPR than what you have been taught.

  • In Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, we have to check the ABC of Life w/c is A-irway, B-reathing and C-irculation. He did not check the airway to see to it that there are no objects that block the throat of the victim. He did not also use the Maximum head-tilt chin lift. In performing the compression, he should be looking on the face of the victim. and lastly he should have place the mouth piece before he started compression.

  • There was a wrong move @ 00:10-00:11, before u move his head back, u must check his/she mouth to see if there is somthing to suffocate.
