you must rev by turning the plate under the flywheel otherwise the ignition is not advancing as the throttle is opening this is why motor sounds sluggish.It is running without advance!

you know you shouldn't rev that like that because there is a linkage on the side that you can turn./

u can work the trootle on the side of the caburator instead of using a srewdriver

he sounds like he is running on 1 cilinder

The timing needs to advance when that linkage or butterfly valveis opened or you won't produce much power, just a lot of smoke.

This was a vid for an ebay sale. And I had the earmuffs with water running through it. That was the first time the engine was started in a year.
