See the first IBM PC, the IBM 5150 from 1981 in action.

This PC was build in 1983 and is upgraded to the full 640KB RAM and with two 30MB MFM-Harddisks.

The CPU is a AMD 8088 (second source).

    It's a Star LC-10 Color. It can also print in color with a three-color-ribbon.

    I bought an XT recently; does the printer need to be IBM compatible or would one with DOS drivers work?

    If you have one with dos drivers and load them it should work.
