Of Faeries and Heroin

This is a story idea that I am working on. I am an aspiring writer, this is an experiment to see how well my idea works out. On we go then.

Lydia is a college student, she is very focused on her studies. Always the bookworm in school, never really made friends. Jack suddenly comes into her life, and for one shining moment...she feel important. There is more to her than brains. They begin an intense love affair. Jack soon after starts to display strange behavior. One moment he is happy, the next he is paranoid. He causes fights for no reason, and without warning. His strange behavior has Lydia worried, so she starts to investigate his things. Which is when she finds his equipment.
When Lydia confronts Jack, he starts to tell her how amazing the high is, and that if she loved him she'd let him be happy. He talks her into shooting up with him. They quickly become addicts together. Lydia cuts off all communication with friends and family.. she quits school. They dont have any money, so Jack talks her into prostitution to support their lifestyle. Jack becomes abusive, physically, mentally, and verbally. He begins to tell her strange stories about a faerie land. About wings, and pixie dust. About his being the next heir to the faerie throne. Lydia ignores him and just laughs...Then one day he is gone...

I am still working out the bugs, but I like the idea. It is very embryonic. Please tell me what you think? Comments, and criticizms are much obliged ^_^. This is also my first video please rate!!!

You need to delve more into this world. The driving force now seems to be the drugs, more emotion from him is needed. He seems to be the no good guy. If you want people to love BOTH characters and care what happens to them BOTH then he needs to be more likable.
