A (rather bumpy) drive from the King's Meadow to the farmhouse on a damp Sunday morning in late August. Soundtracked by Elbow's Asleep In The Back. http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk
it took that car less than 3 mins to get from kings meadow to the farm. Its taken me about 3 hours to do the same distance at 5.30am in the morning after the first festival night!
always love how everything just melts away and how the pyramid stage looks so small and insignificant in the middle of all the fields. its the same over here in ireland when we have oxegen just up the road at punchestown. i bring the dog for a walk down there every day and i've gone to all the oxegens but its always funny to see how it just goes back to being a bunch of mucky fields after everyone goes
Very cool video. I also always wondered what it would look like without the thousands of people, stages and bands there. Beautiful music too. Perfect for the video.
Always wanted to see the site without the festival - finally! Thanks.
