That was no bear, scientists recreated the scenario at the location several times. They filmed and measured a model during surveys of the site. . . the proportions of the limbs were too long to be a bears. The Pa Game Commission were wrong they never investigated the site or measured anything. They just wanted to calm everyone down.

I agree the animal in the picture is not a bear. The ratio of leg length to torso length falls in the range of a primate. However, having said that, one cannot jump to the conclusion this animal is a juveinile bigfoot. There is no evidence this a Bigfoot, just a primate. Looks more like a chimp than to me. Is it possible this is an escaped exotic pet?
