This is important. I teach at a school that is multi-focused. We offer recreational track, for kids ages 2 1/2- 8ish, then they can continue with that track, or start the intensive track and work up to our professional Co. We also do 2-3 comps a year, but it is not a focus, just additional classes offered for those interested in exploring that "world". Then we have a side studio of hip-hop/jazz/tap, and most of it is rec, but there are a couple advanced/co classes with performance opportunites

@bebigirl1999 yea me too and I am now 14 dancing at ABT one of the most prestegious dance schools, and I go on pointe and nothing happens to me ever... The most important thing- if you love ballet, go for it
