4 steamers in crewe 26/04/08

I filmed 4 steamers in 2 hours at crewe station on 26th april. Filmed nunney castle coming in from chester. 47760 moved ready for the duchess coming in. I didn't film the duchess as I really wanted pocket rocket and I have the duchess plenty of times on film. 76079 and 45407 took on water as the duchess came in. the duchess went onto the heritage centre after being taken off the welsh dragon. the double act were half an hour late in leaving and the light was fading as it was nearly 8.30pm they had 67015 on the tail end in wrexham and shropshire livery.

Nice collection of videos you have here. I remember Crewe in 1963/64. Not a lot of interest in railways at present. Don't even know what Class the tail end Charlie was on the last departure!

thanks, this seems so long ago now but was an amazing night with all this in the space of a few hours. we get a lot of steam specials at weekends. the last loco was a class 67

the light was going fast, it was an amazing night felt special with having all the steamers in. you can see my dad at 8:05 denim jacket and bald head LoL.
