True forgiveness ultimately is what Christ had done for us on the cross. He bore all of our sins and when we repent in truth He forgives completely never remembering it again! Amen and thank God He makes us white as snow. He never holds grudges, nor regrets. Jesus never regretted what He did for us on the cross. He also did not intend on reminding us of our sins long after He has already forgiven. He forgives and forgets totally. He only sees us in His Love!:)
When we have a chance to forgive and forget we can always strive more to do as Jesus had done and still does to this day. He lets it all go completely and loves us anew as if we never have sinned against Him. When we tell God we are sorry and repent in love and truth...it stays. Not just one, two or three days...His forgiveness lasts a lifetime! I believe that is why we can continue to have a close and intimate relationship non stop with Jesus. We are living, learning and learning to love. We are still being perfected in Christ, and have not reached the fulness of total grace and forgiveness. People (human beings) have conditions for forgiveness, and limitations on how they forgive. So that tends to be the way we all think at times...not how God sees it in His ways, but many times we only can see our own way as being right.
When we speak on ourselves we talk conditions...When we speak on The LORD their are no conditions for He is an absolute perfection of the entire universe! His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts, says the LORD.
When Peter asked how many times should you forgive someone for sinning against you...Jesus answered this: "I tell you, not seven times,"I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven." -Matthew 18:22

So if we forgave just as Jesus forgives still to this day, we would remember nomore. We are not Jesus though, however God puts it on our hearts to ask ourselves in everyday life, "What would Jesus Do." Then we can try our best to truly forgive by also putting it out of our minds and the best way to do that I have been learning is by just keeping in His Word and staying focused on the goal which is in Christ. That eliminates alot of time spent on thinking on old sins of our own or sins against us from others. It's true:)
Jesus continually focuses on His Father's Love. In this day in age, in this kind of day we live in..this can be very hard from all the chaos going on all around us but it's necessary in our faith to try to learn this in our daily lives with God's help. I pray we can all come to the conclusion that when ones want to make it work it can work in God:) but if they do not want to make it work then the works is lacking faith in what God can really accomplish in our lives!
So I pray you all are blessed and I had this on my heart and wanted to share some thoughts I had on it. It's all about having trust in God.
God bless u:) in agape forever.

  • You are right. I have had to dig deep several times in my walk on this earth to forgive wrongs that have been done to me. God has been faithful each time to deliver me from the anger that would have consumed my life.

  • @Loyal2law :)

  • @rubene66 thank you:)

  • @rebelrecycler .it hurts more when we fail to forgive and builds walls ..not leading to a good healing. At least if we break down the walls and be willing to give all to forgiveness..there is a brighter scenery ahead..not built walls and continues on and on. God bless you!

  • @beachtides24 begin to forgive as Christ forgave us:) it begins the actual healing process i believe...and helps us personally as well as getting closer to God's heart. Nomatter what anyone else does or feels..we can't help that, we can only forgive as we should..and pray for healing and reaching out to others with care. Pray for others to grow in true forgiveness so they will heal as well. And pray for us to continue to forgive even if it hurts.

  • @rebelrecycler we all do...i do as well...but all we can do is allow God to help us all to forgive often...remembering none of us are perfect...although if we have that will to forgive and we truly want to..we will grow in forgiveness. It hurts us when we dont forgive as well. The other person may not care...maybe they do, but it all comes down to forgiving helps us personally make peace with what happened and move on in love for others and ourselves. we are able to be healed more when we begin

  • @filoIII hi, my main belief is solely in Jesus Christ:) every heart felt emotion is for the Most High God. many of the videos i do is driven by my love for having a relationship with God. I'm certainly not perfect but were all still growing and learning. thank you for your comment:) Jesus is Lord of my life, and I enjoy sharing scriptures..very peaceful and nice experience and really makes my life brighter.
