Practicing flips close to the ground with the quadcopter. Trying to do a barrell roll into a forward flip. Wanna build one? Check out www.AeroQuad.com!
This is the best aeroquad video I have seen. I really like the carbon fiber. It's hard to see, but it looks like you have a motor sized tubes or platforms perpendicular to the cross beams. How are they attached? I am a cnc machinist but have never worked with carbon fiber. Mcmaster says diamond tools. I have cut fiberglass board well with carbide. do think it works well with carbon fiber too?
@billk29 nothing special is needed for cutting carbon fiber, cuts and shapes like fiberglass

Damn dp I love this accent ! ^<^
The carbon fiber absorbs shocks without deformations or dents....Until it snaps in a hairy mess...Lucky you !
I think the weightlessness of the frame saved you...
Now to see a Y6 owner do the same tricks... heh.
Are X6 and X8 configurations quick enough to do rolls and flips anyway ? I wonder.

Have you ever considered getting some video taken in flight and posting it on YT?
