Angel Burgueno crashing the Chamberlain-Synergy Motorsports Lola B05/40-AER LMP2 during the official testday at the Esses. The testday is held two weeks prior to the race. This crash gave Warren Hughes a seat for the race as Burgueno did not complete the 10 consecutive laps rookies are required to do. He crashed on his second lap.
The session was redflagged for an hour as the armco was pushed back by a metre and had to be replaced.

  • i like how he just crashes a multi-million dollar car and just walks away.

Well, as far as I'm informed that guy was a pay-driver. I don't know the rates for a LMP2 cockpit, but people pay +50.000 Euros to drive a GT2 car like a Porsche 997 GT3 RSR at Le Mans only.

Sadly this driver crashed on his 2nd lap of the 10 consecutive laps the race director mandates for rookie drivers like he was. He failed the rookie test and was not allowed to race - no money returned of course and he was replaced by a veteran driver

    100.000+ Euros spend, 7min driven

  • @gturner28 wow when he crashes dose that go out his paycheck or a accident plane r someting

  • @MrCool621 That crash did a lot of damage, but that's what the car's designed to do. There's a crushable structure that the rear wings mounted to, the suspension breaks with a hard hit from the side, and the bodywork all just clipped on. In the end it really wasn't that big of a hit compared to some at Le Mans, let alone what you see at Indy . The fact that the same car raced two weeks later is proof the tub was okay.

  • God damn that car just got demolished thankfully it wasn't head on DEAD

  • Fuck me it was lucky he didn't hit the unprotected bit of the armco a couple of metres ahead. Would have been... interesting.

  • Wow, bad one...

  • @Fanofmany1989 What could he do otherwise? Crying in the car? Or waiting for his Mumi?

  • @tommy9927 because you said this it made me feel bad for him.

  • Tipico, le entro demasiado aire por abajo
