  • cool..can the sweeps be executed just using the thumb or fingers?? i dont use a pick..i can sweep downstrokes but not in the upstrokes..

  • @ashish185 Hmm..If I need to descend an arpeggio,pickless-I usually use all my fingers. But I know bassists that shred with their thumb!

  • hi great playin! are you playing those sweeps using a thumbpick or just your thumb??

  • @ashish185 I'm using a pick. It's a small jazz pick and I only use the very tip, so it's hard to see. But I also do a lot of hybrid pick/finger stuff. I guess it's a mixed bag.

  • What is the 7th string tuned to?

  • @RodrigoCFD  I switch between A and B. I think that was A---which I normally do for solo stuff.
