KWTV Channel 9 in Oklahoma City covers how Senator Inhofe and the entire Oklahoma Congressional Delegation stood up to the Department of Justice's effort to bully Oklahoma out of an English language amendment. The amendment would make English the official language of the state. In April 2009, the U.S. Department of Justice sent a letter to the state threatening the removal of federal funds if the state passed the measure.

  • Love the english only, the must show photo ID, and the other new similar law Oklahoma passed today. (sorry, I'm tired and can't remember the third)

  • Mr. Inhofe is my favorite Senator, one of the few that is actually working for the people!

  • I'm just wondering if you call Mexico and get an automated answering machine do you have to push 1 for Spanish? Because I have to push 1 for English here and it drives me insane.

  • Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. The Federal government is threatening to withhold federal monies from Oklahoma if we pursue this. If I'm not mistaken - THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT GETS IT MONIES FROM THE STATES. How about we stop sending them money....

  • Awsome
