@sroualdz I've read it too. There certainly isn't as much blood per se, though I'd argue to say that doesn't necessarily make it less gruesome. People are described being burnt, boiled, sliced and torn apart by wild animals... and they can't die!

I know you're not necessarily saying the poem isn't gruesome at all, but I feel that in some ways, the setting from the poem has a stronger effect.
