http://pbskids.org/sid Try this fun investigation from the The Rolie Polie episode. One of the coolest scientific tools you can use is a magnifying glass, just like the ones Sid and his friends used. With this, you can observe and magnify small objects like teeth and rolie polies it will make these things look much bigger!
Dont miss Sid the Science Kid, the new animated preschool series from The Jim Henson Company and KCET! (check local listings). For more information visit http://pbskids.org/sid

Uploader Comments (PBS)

  • why is this comment stream being moderated?

  • Because the clips are targeted at children.

  • True, but should children be on YouTube? I'm also pretty sure that YouTube has an age-restriction.

  • True -- but these clips attract younger viewers nonetheless, so we take special care with the kinds of comments that appear here.

  • Sid the Science Kid

The title reminds me of Bill Nye the Science Guy.

  • this is meant for kids younger than Nye's audience. teaching scientific methodology to young kids is incredibly important and this show is very necessary. also learn the difference between the homonyms where and were, it will make you look like less of an ass in the future.

  • Awesome!

  • These shows are very educational, but the voices are kind of saracastic to be honest.

  • Its being moderated because some parents make their children playlists on youtube so they can only watch what the parents are comfortable with.
