Traditional boats from the small town of Komiza, Vis Island. Every year they would row 45nm from Komiza to Palagruza Island to fish for sardines. A replica of these boats is used as a support boat on Lifejacket Adventures' kayak tours around to Vis and Hvar Islands.

  • now i know the vikings roamed thru your area once upon a time!!! where are these boats made--they appear to be very wind effective. john miller, diesel boat fisher man on the mendocino coast of california for 20 years!!!
