My first Drag Race

First time I've ever drag raced. TERRIBLE run haha... Heres how it went down..

Street Tires.
Terrible reaction time.
Spun off the line.
Missed 3rd Gear
Ending up letting up at the 1/8th mile mark for a second until I realized.. lol!

Camera died which is why it doesnt show the rest of the race..
Ended up running a 15.8 which isn't too bad I guess. I did lose that run to a stock civic, he passed me after the camera died. but oh well =)
Ran a 15 flat later that night.

Sorry for the swearing when I miss 3rd lol. Girlfriend was filming.

lol. man you must have the stock shifter. check out american muscle for either a pro 5.0 or this new shifter they have thats like 80 bucks. the cheaper one is the one i bought and it works great. never miss third again

It gets easier over time and you will get alot better with practice i have an 02 gt myself what mods do you have done at this point?

I've gotten better already. Right now its got Long tubes, X Pipe, Cat back, and a CAI. I also picked up some radials. I'm supercharging it next year.

nice dude i ran a 13.54@102 with slp lm1 cat back 373 gears and diablo sport tuner on street tires i just ordered my long tubes and x pipe yesterday
