the monkey-chain and the endles spiral imply the whole plot right from the begining. An endles spiral of the same events, in which there is no way out!

Suite Punta del Este, composed by Astor Piazzola for Bandoneon and String Orchestra. The work consists of three movements: Introduction, Choral and Fugue.
This piece was used in the film by Terry Gilliam, 12 Monkeys, however, the recording being used in the movie and we hear at this point is not original but a version of Piazzolla madeby producers.
