  • Put a mark on the slide/side so you crank each section to the same level so they all come out even.

  • @junekentucky Great thought, but the depth of the bend was controlled by "bottoming-out' the pice being bent, when the Aluminum part made contact with the steel press-bars, that was the best gage of all If you noticed, I flipped the part and bent it in an opposite direction. Soft Aluminum hasn't got too much 'memory', the property that wants the material to return to it's original shape, with soft metal, you get what you see, I can understand your thought, but I wasn't concerned with tolerance.

  • Over 50,000 hits per year! Amazing indeed!!!

  • " I ripped the music from Limewire " WOW!!!! WHO SAYS THAT ONLINE!!!!!

you must really want someone to see that and have the music industry sue the shit out of you... >.<

These were custom pieces, only about 25 needed. This bender is not for production work, it was destroyed after the project was finished, there was no "money earned" for each piece, the bending press was the best way to be able to make each piece the same and uniformity was more important than production time for each piece.

If an artist is commissioned to paint a portrait, it's never about how fast he pants but more of a thing of how well he paints. The bender worked well for me.
