This week: a decision nears from President Obama on the future of the manned space program, Elon Musk of SpaceX VEHEMENTLY denies his rockets will be unsafe for astronauts, the clock ticks down to the launch of the shuttle Endeavour, the rover Spirit moves (but just a little), and Miles checks out the lunar inspired artwork of moonwalker Alan Bean.

  • cool soundtrack

  • I miss this show so much!!!!!!!!!!! :(

  • Ares is a piece of crap using Shuttle parts that is dangerous and unbelievably expensive. Go SpaceX !!

  • Elon Musk is an amazing entrepreneur!!!

  • I fully support Space X and the Falcon 9 rocket and hopefully we will see continued success this summer with their first COTS demo for NASA. Musk is right, beginning in 2011, Falcon 9 will begin to ferry cargo to the ISS. If it takes 3 years to complete the manned Dragon capsule, by 2013, Space X may be the only organization in the United States capable of ferrying astronauts to the ISS and back to Earth. Ares I is practically dead. Our only option for LEO is Falcon 9 and possibly Dream Chaser.

  • The Mich Griffin plan simply was no good. It was a geeky guy who just wanted to force us to the moon asap with unrealistic goals. It was built on the emotion of just wanting to explore without considering the problem in a realistic way. Obama's plan is much much smarter and will get better results in the long run.

  • Well, they can suck it now that Falcon 9 has flown!! :)

  • not true. they do weekly vidcasts with news, guests and give & take with the chat room

also they do daily's and stream conferences that you can't get anywhere else as well as HD launch streams

  • Then go watch it. All they do is stream NASAtv and slap their logo on it..

  • spadevidcast has so much more heart than this thing
