The is about mile 99, the last climb out of the canyon and entering the neighborhood streets of Auburn. Geoff is on record breaking pace.

  • @DMSOforU Let's see... Geoff Roes ran a 15:07 for the WS100 and Dean Karnazes' best time is 17:43. He crushed Dean's best time by 2 hours and 36 minutes. I'd say he's better than Dean K. :)

  • Dean's a great athlete but he isn't the fastest. Plus, he started his ultra running career when he turned 30. Geoff, Anton, Scott Jurek, they're all much faster and started younger. The guy running shirtless is Dave Mackey. He's also a very strong runner.

  • geoff better watchout spaniard killian jornet is coming on the scene

  • @wigleboy I think 15:07 for 100 miles is 9:04 min/mile

  • @TBakeProductions Not sure there is any real need for comparison. Dean is a freak and his endurance abilities set him apart in different ways from other runners. He may not be the fastest but that doesn't make his accomplishments any less impressive. I know that's not what you were insinuating. I just think they are very different runners. He is faster than Dean, but not sure he's better.

  • @Augmen1 i run that fast during my warm up

  • @Doubleshot98

    wow you fail

  • Nothing short of impressive. I'm always in awe of those who are able to complete events like this.

  • @futureleader17 Cool thanks

  • @wigleboy guessing 7:30. he's putting out almost exactly 180 strides/min (which is considered ideal) and they are not short strides. also it takes him about 1.5 seconds to run the length of a truck. based on an average truck length of about 211 inches, this comes out to 8mph or 7:30 miles. towards the 3min mark in the video he seems to briefly slow down a little bit but i'd say the last mile averaged out was 7:30

  • @Doubleshot98 You are ignorant.

  • @robotminione 100 miles?? whatever. You are insane. A man can't run for that long..

its a joke you stupid fuck.. if you can"t understand sarcasm don't jump on your moms apartment complex office computer.
