"all religions warn themselves against other religions."

i guess that is kinda true today.

    but i just want to point out, (& im not sure how much you share my view here);

that Prophets came after Moses confirming the laws that Moses came with, & Jesus came confirming what Moses brought, and Muhammad came confirming what Jesus brought. Although people in our time attach different labels to each one, they all shared the same message.

They thought us to worship God alone.

    Peace.

  • BTW guys, I'm gay and was raised Mormon too, so I agree with what you are saying.

I think that the attitude, tone and words in the way you present it undermines what you are trying to get across.

I can't see very many Mormon people watching this video and changing their minds. It would be far easier to come unto Christ, and try and live by his example, and be an example to the people you are trying to reach.

Be humble, calm, loving and understanding for their MISunderstandings of gays.

  • @IQ233 the same could be said in reverse. If a Mormon Prophet sent by God comes to you, and say that your religion is not the truth. Why do you become arrogant, call them infidels, and threaten to strike them down?

Problem is, all religions warn themselves against other religions. Its part of the formula of organized religion.

I will trust God himself, because of the fact that nothing man says anymore can be trusted. I'm still waiting for many of his answers, but I know he will give them.

  • I think the fact that a Mormon can have a testimony about things that are so clearly untrue such as the rightness of Polygamy or like those women that left their own husbands to marry Joseph Smith when that was so clearly wrong shows that a testimony can be a form of self delusion

  • lol

  • I agree. It's terrible the way religions kill gay people or try to make their lives illegal because they dissagree with them. You never see gay people killing religious people.

    Peace.

  • I agree, there must be a point...a line that you do not cross regardless of what any church leader says. I am aware that line is different for everyone. For me, I could never embrace anything that infringes on someone else's rights.

I also agree with Wyatt's statement about "Don't vote against". I have believed for many years" if you can't help, at least don't hurt".

  • One God, One Message.

"Indeed to Moses we gave the Torah and sent after him other messengers in succession; then we gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Why is it that whenever there come to you a Prophet with a message, which did not suit your desires, you became so arrogant that to some of them you called imposters and others you killed!"

    -English Quran translation 2:87

    ~Peace~
