First off let me assure you I am not "afraid" of the Christian right. I am sick of them trying to run this country as they see fit. The last excuse for a President said he asked "God" what to do as far as going into an unprovoked war. You see your last President claims to be a Christian. This is where the Christian Right got us. Once again I am not "afraid"

of the Christian Right I am sick of them shoving their beliefs down everyone's throats.

If "Obamas America" had learned as much of its history, then we (germans) have of ours, there would not be as much racism, prejudifivation and superficialty left.

I don't care about or blame anybody, who believes in "God", but what most so called "christians" are doing, is nothing then patronizing all others and that has absolutly NOTHING to do with "christianity" at all !

I , too was inspired that night. And I'm a middle aged Southern white guy.

I know we made the right decision that night , but with all the hate being generated from the right , who weren't ready for a Brand New America , I'm not as hopeful as I was two years ago. I hope Keb Mo hasn't been dis-illusioned like me , because we need more songs like this.
