@blaugot complying and supporting socialism, and even fanatic nationalism out of desperateness seems quite normal and tolerable. but adherence to a fascist regime isn't. I'm aware that a substantial number of free thinking Germans opposed the Nazi ideology

@anaselhaouat national socialism.
-
@anaselhaouat Actually National socialism was an answer to the terrible Versailles treaty and the way Germany was treated by the victors of the 1st world war. You need to understand the full history and what National socialism meant for Germany. Most Germans lived well unde

@blaugot I think you misunderstood when he spoke about the 'poison' of german culture. he's just giving an example of how most Germans had realized it was adhering to wrong principles (Nazi ideology) and had to take a look in the mirror, and reboot. I'd take it as a compliment if I were a German, because it isn't easy to go from Nazi Germany to a moral and successful state

as a muslim i know this guy speaks da truth------da muslims world really needz commen sense, rational, modern and moderate thinkerz like him who can confront religious dogma and counter attack stone aged rituals----unfortunately, those bearded bastards will go on da attack like hound dogz and character assassinate him by claiming heez a CIA or Mossad agent. their bearded cocks have small ballz which dont have enough courage 2 handle da bitter truth.

No, he's not a nobody, he was the Dean of Quatar University and what he is saying makes a boatload of sense but only if your heart is not full of lust for vengeance and a pathetic need to identify yourself as the underdog with a terrible master.

It is true Germany and Japan opened their souls to re-examine themselves after war and become great nations. Sometimes, you have no choice but to resort to 'surgery', open the wounds, to fix your most difficult problems.
If history proves right, Iraq could be one next on path to great nation.
