I agree with maple...is the point to this song to argue who's in it or did we all originally just want to hear it again.... I'm also named Michelle and I had the hugest crush on my school teacher as a child. Bc he sang this to me every morning walking up to his door to let the class in. So for u men who date a Michelle or interested in a Michelle I'd say sing to her! We love it!

It's so funny reading all the squabbling about who the band is ... but isn't the real point to listen to one of the classic masterpieces of our time, from the man who sings the song? Thanks so much for posting this :)

Okay, almost EVERY comment is wrong in clarifying who this is. It's Paul mcCartney's backing band from his 1993 New World Tour. This is NOT wings wings issued their last album (Back to the egg) in 1979. This band features Linda McCartney, Hamish Stuart, Robbie McIntosh, Wix Wickens, and Blair Cunningham. THATS IT!

I was named after this song, and it's been sung to me my entire life, but I still love it!

This is from the Tripping the Live Fantastic Tour - 1990. Robbie MacIntosh on guitar, Hamish Stuart on guitar, Paul Wix Wickens on keyboards, Linda hanging around at back, can't remember name of drummer.
This was Paul McCartney and wings performing...though the song was originally done by the Beatles. My dad named me after this song too. I think lots of girls were named after this song...LOL. But every time someone starts to sing this to me, I just think it's a message that my dad is still watching over me from Heaven. No matter what though, it's still an excellent song.

You can instantly tell it's not the Beatles due to the abundance of mullets.
