Beautiful! I believe the image of the Mother and child represent, Mother Earth and Humanity (Child). This image is seen in many cultures. That's why I wonder if Mother Mary really belongs to the Church. I believe her image was stolen by the Christians.

Mary Magdelene is the women who was at the Last supper. She also was the one privilaged to witness the empty tomb of the resurection. Many have said that she was the adultuous women forgiven by Jesus but there is no proof. She was a disciple of Christ. She was cast out by men because she was a women, But she still loved him and followed him. She was faithful.
