Sentosa Island

A piece of paradise on earth is right here on the wonderful Sentosa Island in Singapore. This place has to offer a kaleidoscope of awesome attractions and interesting activities. Once a tourist steps his foot on this mesmerizing land of Sentosa, he gets dazzled with the breathtaking beauty of the lavish landscape and lush green surroundings peppered with various exciting and wonderful attractions spread across the island. Sentosa Island can be called a tropical resort, heritage center, themed attraction and a Natural park -- all contained in one.

Sentosa actually means peace and tranquility in Malay. Around 5 million people visit this fantastic island resort in the country of Singapore every year. Among the various attractions on this island, the important ones are the two golf courses, two five star hotels, Fort Siloso and last but not the least a 2 kms long sheltered beach.

The lovely island has an area of around 5 sq kms. It is situated at a distance of only half a kilometer from the southern coast of the main Singapore Island. Sentosa Island is the 4th largest island in the country. Around seventy percent of the island consists of secondary rainforests. The place is the natural habitat of monkeys, parrots, peacocks, monitor lizards and other native flora and fauna. The enchanting island also has a 3.2 km stretch of a white sandy beach.

It will be a paradise if you don't place a dumb materialistic casino in it, i find better paradise in Pulau Ubin than this fake man made Vegas wannabe.Stop gambling and help the poor,you selfish humans.The thing that you owned are just illusions,get it?

I've stayed in the hotel on the island. It was absolutely amazing!! Best place ever.
