  • Elton welsby was at a loss what to say when Clough came out with his witticisms, fun to watch Elton squirm and pass the buck on! Before now, those were the last days Spurs pushed really hard in the league.

    RIP cloughie

  • I remember spurs won this 1-0 thanks to a very scrappy goal by Lineker and after the match Clough saying that if Shilton had been younger he would have saved it.

What followed in the press (mainly in the tabloids) for a couple of days after this match was a war of words between Clough and Shilton with Lineker and Vennables jumping to Peter Shilton's defence.

  • @colavfc70 you're right of course, but all genius is self-destructive.

  • @MrMattmac derrrr well obviously or i would not have posted this lol

  • @Paulderby no surprise your a Derby cunt

  • "Happiest time of my managerial career" well said Clough.

  • Brian Clough was a legendary manager despite his battle with alcoholism.

Remember the lilywhites winning this one 0-1 with a goal from Gary Lineker and thus completing a league double over the Rams for the 1st time in many years!!!!

  • People watching Cloughie drunk think it was funny but it was actually bloody sad horrible decline

  • cloughie is clearly pissed out of his head here. sad to see. just compare this to his tv work in the late 70's when he was at his brilliant best.

  • the line up's are virtually british except Nayim and Samways!!
