I dont like MLG because they have to TWEAK the game in order to be called "Pros".

Do you think people got into the MLB or NFL becuase they tweaked the rules, no they play by the book and thats what makes them the pros. If you have to TWEAK a game type in order to be good at it thats just sad.

Okay. Here's the difference between them.

Sports are essentially made to be competitive. Halo 3 was made to be "fun". And since the default Halo 3 "fun settings" would not work in a competitive manner, MLG took it upon themselves to design their own rules and gametypes to make it well balanced between fun and competitive.

I agree.

But I mean, look at the whole concept of sports nowadays. People play StarCraft, Counter-Strike, poker, whatever, and consider it a sport. They're just games, but people take it just as seriously as sports.

The whole what is a sport is getting more general, and well MLG is trying to do the same. The world is changing, and this is one of the ways.

fun is different for everyone,some preffer to play for fun and it doesnt matter if they dont score a touchdown in a season while others have fun when they win and will be pissed if they dont score an incredible amount of touchdowns in a season.why should everyone be like me and you and dont care if they win or lose in a game.
