how did you get the strap on. I see where you put yours but on mine it looks like it'd be drilling into the keys. please let me know

@MrM1d Are you using a MicroKorg XL? We used strap locks, and just got some small bolts that were shorter than the screws that come with them. Basically you need bolts that the head is just big enough to fit into the lock without slipping through, and just long enough to be able to screw the nut onto the end. It was short enough that it didn't hit any of the electronics.

So, does this mean that the keytar from 123456Pokemon couldn't play the way this one does (that it was only a toy or a regular keyboard without guitar, etc) and that's the reason you needed to build this one in stead? It'd be a bit disappointing if it was the case. :(

@vampirica89 The keytar in that video is a fully functional instrument, but it's kind of cheesy, and not nearly as awesome as this one. Also we just like making crazy things!
