Dec 4, 2008 Tilicho Lake side trip (3 days) from Manang, overnighting 2 nights at Tilicho Base Camp Hotel then returning via ridge trail directly to Yak Kharka. If you fear narrow trails, landslide areas and some exposure, don't do this, otherwise it is a highly recommended side trip when doing the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal. Plus good acclimatazation opportunity in preparation for the Throng La.

Only when I got to this trail I realized how dangerous are some parts of it. 03:03 - is one of such parts. Was really scary.

I went to Lake Tilicho in Oct 2010. Since I went by myself, I have only still pictures of the trail. Looking at this video brought back brilliant memories. There is a small tea shop by the lake now, where I had cheese-Maggi... Best meal of my life :)
