In this Back Stage exclusive video clip, 'The King's Speech' director Tom Hooper and star Colin Firth praise actor Geoffrey Rush and discuss making the film. Rush plays Lionel Logue, the speech therapist hired by the future king (Firth) to help with his public speaking.

  • 2:02 to the end of this vid is HILARIOUS. Geoffrey actually came up with that idea as one of the exercises, since it's unknown how the real Lionel Louge did his sessions with King George.

  • A bromance is how I described this movie to everyone after I saw it. Obviously it's a term that didn't exist in the era of this movie but it fits perfectly.
