  • The video here is not about Robert Foley, but about the effect a death sentence has had on family members who have committed no crime. Not one of them asked that he not be punished. When speaking about the death penalty we are talking about our behavior, killing another, and rejecting that as a punishment. No use imitating the killer and teaching others it is o.k. to kill.

  • Robert Foley is a stone cold killer and arch criminal. He received the death penalty in 2 separate cases, involving the murders of 6 people. He had a prior conviction for manslaughter. He is the suspect in the murder of a witness. He engineered an elaborate coverup of his crimes. His father and then wife are alleged to have threatened witnesses with death. KCADP and other like groups need to be more honest and informative. Foley is a killing machine. People have a right to know that.

  • @brianchapmanlaw We don't dispute the horror of the murders. We dispute the punishment: life in jail without parole would keep him from killing just as well as death. He's been in prison for more than 17 years and that's done just as good a job as keeping him from murdering again as an execution would.

  • Members of KCADP certainly do not approve of what Robert Foley did and he needs to be held accountable. He should not have killed anyone. We think that same standard applies to the State acting in our name. Killing through the death penalty is about our behavior - Robert Foley is wrong to kill and so are we. We can punish him severely by life in prison without parole. We are sorry for your loss.

  • Sure the family of death row inmate Robert Foley will be against death row. I say, if Foley was man enough to take the life’s of 6 people, Then he should pay for what he has done. I think DEATH for the cold hearted murderer should be the least he should get. They should take Foleys life like the 6 people he killed. The sooner the better. The 6 people Foley killed did not have a say in how they left this world, he shouldn’t neither. This is coming from a family member of one of the victims!

  • I have zero sympathy for the inmate on death row.I feel bad for the criminals family. The family should be upset with thier kid.He commited how many murders? He is putting them through hell not the criminal justice system.I believe in the death penalty 100%.The only problem with the death penalty is it is'nt used enough. The 2 things I would change with the death penalty is this.

1.Give the victims family the option to pull the switch

2.Kill the criminal the same way they did thier victims.

  • torture him to death...getting raped for the rest of his life is to good for him.

  • I just ran accross Donna Stopher's statement regarding her son, Vincent who shot and killed a sheriff's deputy during an arrest. Although there is no description from KCADP about what Vincent did (there should be), Donna mentions it. Consequently, the public has a better understanding of what happened and can make a more informed decision.

  • @brianchapmanlaw

Of course the murders are horrible. The point is; the murderer is horrible. I am not arguing for or against the death penalty. However, if you are using Foley and his family to make your argument that the death penalty is wrong, you should at the very least describe his crimes. The public you are trying to convince has a right to know what he did and how he tried to cover it up. The public has a right to the whole story. Be fair about it.

  • ALL THESE PEOPLE WERE PROBABLY PRO DEATH PENALTY UNTIL THERE FAMILY MEMBER WAS FACING ITRobert Foleymurdered two brothers, Rodney and Lynn Vaughn, during an argument at his residence on August 17, 1991 in Madison County. On April 27, 1994 he was given a second death sentence in Madison County for the murders of Kimberly Bowersock, Lillian Contino, Jerry McMillen, and Calvin Reynolds. He shot the four victims on October 8, 1989 because he thought one of them had reported him to his parole officer
