the melee in this game is perfect, honestly the way they made the game if you are up close it just would not be fun to continue to spray.

@L4ionh4rt are you sure it isnt a marksman with a cloaking device? It happened to me to that i hit the melee button, the guy dissapears from screen and suddenly was in my arms getting his eye sockets cleaned xD

@JDaragas Melee does suck you in. I melee'ed a guy and he wasn't even on my screen. Suddenly he teleports into my arms and i snap his neck.

I totally agree with melee in modern shooters. It's farggin stupid. In earlier fps's with melee, it made a bit more sense since you were hitting them with the butt of you gun... but why did a bullet not kill the enemy, when a melee did? That's crap. And with newer games like CoD, it's incredibly unrealistic to INSTANTLY whip your knife out and kill them. I preferred Counter Strike, where your knife is a secondary weapon that you have to consciously switch to first.
