I still like mega man x4,especially the plot twist, where double was evil all along.

@kickflipjr imo, this game is the best in the classic series. I know I might get flamed for saying this, but Mega Man 2 is my least favorite game. Don't get me wrong. It's good, but I just don't understand the hype. I can go into so many reasons as to why Mega Man 2 is my least favorite classic Mega Man.

I always thought it was weird how they could make such epic games like the mega man series and at the same time make some of the most horrid loathsome games I've ever seen.

While I wouldn't say that I'm a Mega Man noob since I've loved the character since my childhood (I played X and X4), my first classic Mega Man game was actually 9 back in 2008. I just recently download I, II, and III from the VC and Mega Man III has to be my personal favorite. It's a bit unbalanced and the powers are not nearly as useful as II's, but there are many quirks that really make III stand out and I completely agree with you. The ending is the stuff of legends

Maybe it's because I was so young when 8-Bit Mega Man came out, but I think these games have AMAZING graphics. I'd rather stare at these visuals than some of the new crap they spew out nowadays.

well i respect your opinion but i didn't liked a lot this game. i think some of the bosses like Shadow man were unfair and the power ups were worse than 2's, but it still a good game, but honestly, i preffer Mega Man 4 (yeah, i know i'll be criticized for that but this is my feelings), but of course Mega Man 2 still the best

Mega Man 3 was Mega Man at the height of it's time. But for some reason MM3 feels just slightly less memorable than MM2. This might be because MM3 had no intro and the story is not fully explained so the player view gets less rememered. Still a great game.
