  • Thanks for the great demonstration! Great tip about the tensioner tool! I'm having trouble finding a serpentine belt that bypasses the a/c to fit? According to the manufacturer's pulley instructions they make one, but so far all the belts are too long. I've resorted in carrying a string that measures the belt size I need, however the stores that I go to don't store their belts by size. What a frustrating adventure! BTW, it's a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, 6 cylinder w/o a/c.

  • nice dude, this is by far the most complete video on how to change a serp. belt on utube, thanks for the awesome vid!

  • hey, My serpentine belt never lasts too long. It usually splits through the middle after a few months. If i get a belt too tight, the tensioner pully will squel really loud but if i go to loose, it usually will start to slip slicing the edges over time. The one i have on now is 244 cm long and so far so good. i also have no idea what belt system i have but the engine is a 350 vortec v-8 5.7 liter. Its mounted on my IROC camaro.. think you can help me?
